Importance of games in education

Friends.....its been a long time i wrote my last blog...so, hope it will be good comeback for me.........today I'm going to write about some thing all of you like. I will not say much about it.....See it by yourself......

In today’s busy world, people are always surrounded by some tensions or depressions. And to get relief from these tensions and to refresh ourselves, one of the most useful solutions is playing ‘games’. Previously games were not given much attention but today the importance of games is accepted by all. Without games the lives of the students becomes inactive, lazy and depressive.

Games have many merits. They keep our minds fresh and moreover keep us healthy. The children who play games never feel laziness. They become smarter. They develop the art of teamwork and discipline. Qualities like truthfulness and justice evolve on them. They learn to accept defeats in their life. They learn the manner to adjust themselves in any types of situations. They become rich in patience and bravery. In short, all the important qualities needed for the development of a perfect personality can be obtained through games. It this way we see that through games children develop mentally, physically, morally and spiritually.

Games also play a vital role in education because it is important that the growth of a student takes place both physically and mentally because a healthy brain always lives in a healthy body. But if the students will only be given bookish knowledge, will they be physically fit? Today the condition of students is deplorable because today they have much pressure of studies and they even don’t get the chance to play. When students get tired of reading they should play games to refresh themselves.

As games have an important role in an educational life, schools should have the complete arrangement of games. It is a matter of joy that today schools are giving attention to it. Today, almost all the schools have at least a playground and playing tools. Today even the try of giving education through games is going on.

Time given to studies and games should be in an equal proportion because if special attention will be given to games then students will not focus in studies. Like studying every time is not good, playing every time is also not good. Therefore equal attention should be given to both games and studies. Time to study and play should be set and more important, it should be followed. While studying, study with full focus and while playing, play your best. Only then the complete development of a child will take place.

It is clear that games have a crucial role in education and complete development of a child. So, schools should have complete facilities of games. But even today there are some schools which do not show any importance in games. If in a week there are 40 periods for studies then there is 1 period for games. In these circumstances how the complete development of a child will take place? So the government and school managements should pay heat to this issue. If the future Helmsmen of the nation will be healthy and secure then only the future of the nation will be bright.
